Not a hawk. I admire his accomplishments. Adding to this response, his service to America in Viet Nam and then his willingness to come home and try to right the ship regarding the mess in Viet Nam showed an early integrity I've always admired. I've never seen a single admonishment or accusation about him. And he's been in service to the country his whole life.
Probably not such a good idea to claim one person is better than any other. The Party has a lot of really good people serving.
