4. I still think that Romney will ultimately get the nomination

as he is clearly the establishment's choice and what the GOP establishment wants, it usually gets............HOWEVER, the better that Gingrich, Santorum, Paul do in SC (and elsewhere), the longer it will take for Romney to fully secure the nomination and the bigger of a bruising he will take, not to mention the less time he will have time to (somehow) pivot back to the center in time for the GE. Meanwhile, Obama and the DNC can watch the show and build up their funds and oppo research for the GE.
