Large crowd.
Hot and Humid.
Standing still.
Formal attire, not shorts and a tank top to stay cool.
Extremely emotional event and highly personal since she was senator to NY at the time of 9/11.
Campaigning up to 18 hours a day.

My 100% healthy son has been prone to overheating like this since he was quite young. You get out of the sun/heat into air conditioning/cool place and rest and you are as good as new.

My ex husband was in the Navy. Every time they had inspections in their dress blues (even in the winter in New England) someone would overheat and collapse from locking their knees. Never failed.
