16. I have to second Ms. Toad's view on Ambien

Stuff is NASTY (and not in a Nasty Woman sort of way)!!! My wife was prescribed Ambien and once she got thru the period where she needed it, found it almost impossible to go off. What it finally came down to was running out of her prescription on a holiday weekend and not being able to get it renewed. She made the decision right then and there to go cold turkey. A week of sleepless nights before she was finally able to sleep out of pure exhaustion.

I refer to that period as "sleeping with the Ambien".
