these are the things Trump is saying. He is attacking the disabled. He is attacking Muslims and Mexicans. He is saying threatening things. He is acting like a bully.

So "The Children are Watching" means the things Trump says are not things children should hear. They are a very poor example for children to see.

So, for those who agree with the sentiments of that ad, they must surely agree Trump is not fit to be a good example to children. Surely, the defender-in-chief of Trump, is also unfit by defending that bullying and threatening behavior that the Clinton campaign believe is totally unacceptable.

I agree with the OP that the chief defender of bullying and threatening behavior, by her own actions, is not going to be giving her children a good example. No child should have to watch their parent defend what is completely indefensible. Those who bully others need to be held to account, not defended for political expedience.

We are this close to putting a fascist in power because there are people who think behavior that would shame other politicians in other nations should be overlooked or held up as an example for others to follow, and it seems millions like the nasty, bigoted, threatening behavior they see.
