Florida Senator Marco Rubio might know something, as he appears to put a lid on speculation.

“I’m not going to be the vice presidential nominee, but I’m always flattered when people bring it up, I think they mean it as a compliment,” Rubio said on MSNBC.

Well...given that Romney and Santorum are both trailing Obama by 10+ pct in recent polls, there goes the chance for a handsome 40-year-old running mate in the event of a brokered convention. I wonder how the arguments over Chris Christie or anyone else as a running mate are going in the Republican boss boardroom.
