20. who defined it as everybody except white men

When Barack Obama tried to build a high-speed rail in Florida, there were plenty of white men who were looking forward to the jobs it would make, before Give Rock Scott scuttled it because it would threaten a deal he made with his friends. There were plenty of white men that got insurance under the much reviled ACA that did not haver to worry about dying because they were too poor to get medicine. Last I checked, there as so sign that said: "white men need not apply." On the other hand, the blacks and browns in your job line have as hard a time getting a job, and frankly, a harder time as they are often "last hired, first fired."

We do need to make economic justice, but what makes it hard to deal with -->SOME<--, note I said -->some<-- "white working class" is that they act as if they deserve to be served first, and let everyone else fight over the remains. The good old days they want a return to are indeed the days when women and other knew their place. Now Bernie is not one of those; he knows the good old days were not that good, and Richard Trumpka seems to know that as again, he has done heroic things to make Unions for everyone. However, truth be told, the things that made it easy to treat minorities like crap were effectively turned against those "white men" you speak for, because when many of them became "Reagan Democrats", they enabled the GOP to pick them clean, just as the "Trump Democrats" will be the first to scream when their Medicare is taken.

Now, I am not saying that there does not need to be serious, major retooling of the message, nor will I deny that some in the Clinton camp used the veneer of social justice to gloss over economic justice. However, if you decide you want to add on to the chorus of "dem uppity social justice wimmin and minorities need ta shut up", then you will be challenged, especially as the Bernies and Trumpkas frankly are not falling for that. We want to walk forward together with you, we want to walk over the GOP that dopes want to walk over both opf us, but we will NOT walk behind you.
