19. It make sense to the Obama administration

that the ACA is a positive for Americans. But their understanding and inner intricacies of the Affordable Care Act is their own downfall because they assume the rest of Americns can discern and pick out what the ACA is about.

Frankly, that is a grave miscalculation and it is obvious that the Republicans are running with misinformation as a result.

It is not that I am completely against the ACA. In fact, I know the good and bad portions of the ACA in fine detail, which is not characteristic of most American's knowledge level when it comes to public policy. I also know that delays do happen (not happy about some of the ACA delays), but most Americans don't understand this side of public policy. And I also know that the weaker portions of the ACA can be fortified in due time as that is what happened to the Clear Air and Clear Water Acts respectively.

However, if the DC bubble does exist, this is the textbook example of it because it feels like that administration is dragging their feet about their milestone public policy that defines this administration.
