He wants to stop the use of chemical weapons by the Assad regime. Most everybody else agrees that it's bad but don't really want him to do anything militarily about it. You may not like the idea of intervening militarily or think it's a bad idea but President Obama is NOT a warmonger like George W. Bush and his neocon cabal and is trying to give Congress and by extension the public a voice as well. After what we went through with George W. Bush, isn't that we wanted?
