As I have said before, OWS forced the main topic of political discussion off the deficit and onto the disparities of wealth and the crimes of the super-rich. As long as all the chatter was about the deficit, the Republicans had the home field advantage. The disparity/inequality issues are natural Democratic territory--and I hope we (mainly Obama) can remember how to fight on our own field. This shift, more than any other factor, I believe, is going to result in a general stomping of the Republicans in November.
