Protests in the thousands occurred in several of our major cities. Businesses, politicians, and activists took to the streets, to Twitter & Facebook, and went on local and national news outlets to protest this bill.

Given the bill's passage last week and the veto today, I would say things progressed to a better conclusion here in Arizona than have elsewhere in a very short time.

Jan Brewer said in her statement: "Religious liberty is a core American and Arizona value. So is non-discrimination." Hell even Obama had to 'evolve' on his position on gay marriage.
