(note - I say this as someone who's contributed to Grayson in the past):

To anyone thinking of contributing MONEY to Alan Grayson (if you're volunteering time, no problem): every rating group (Cook, Rothenberg, Sabato, DKos) lists FL-9 as a "Safe Democratic" district with a significant Democratic voting advantage. If you want to contribute to feel good or "send a message" about supporting progressives, fine, but those dollars could go to another candidate in a more competitive district to either protect or expand our base in the House.
