Tom Corbett.

The state legislature which has a Republican majority across the board must be hearing a bunch of complaints from their constituents about Corbett's funding cuts to social programs and education. They are attempting to mitigate the damage of those cuts through budget negotiations. That makes me believe that the Republicans have once again overplayed their hands and are running scared.

The voter ID law that was recently signed has been challenged by a 93 year old woman who has no documentation that would enable her to get an ID. The ACLU has filed a lawsuit on her behalf.
