(35,015 posts)24. It was a great night! About 60 at my house party here in TX.
And despite what THEY want us to believe, the crowd was not all old white people, not all Democrats. Mostly young folks with bouncing-off-the-wall enthusiasm who have never had an interest in politics before - they want to do everything they possibly can for the Bernie "movement". That's what they're calling it; they believe Bernie can win if we all spread the word and work together. I believe them.
This is different than what I experienced with Obama's campaign 8 years ago. It's not all about Bernie, it's about everyone.
