16. DU has a Chafee group, but it was started by someone who felt sorry for him.

(No one has felt sorry for Jim Webb.) I am someone who knew nothing about Chafee beyond the basics, but he did seem likable and sincere at the Iowas Wing Ding Dinner where he spoke last. He used his 20 minutes to attack the GOP for the Iraq War and being wrong about everything. He also attacked Alito. I don't consider myself a Chafee supporter, but he is a decent person and would make an ok President. I think he's running for a cabinet position, and he'll probably be a good selection.

The takeaway? Even the Democrat's worst candidate is light year better than the Republican's best candidate.
