4. I like O'Malley on this. Social Security has been the 3rd rail for decades.

Many, if not most, won't touch it, not in a substantial way.

I worry that most Dems will be willing to concede certain cuts: adding years before we can retire and letting years pass without a COLA increase.

It should, of course, be expanded and I'm wondering why we aren't talking about LOWERING the age of retirement to 62, letting younger people have access to more slots in the workplace.

It's not like the wealth isn't out there to cover such things, it's just in the wrong hands!
