(10,622 posts)Al they want is whatever team they chose to win, even if a player commits fouls or cheats to win its "go team go". Such sports enthusiasts do not care or will willfully ignore the cheating and fouls.
Most such people are not the ones getting screwed by the system that don't have enough food and worry about becoming homeless, THOSE THAT THINK IT SPORT just watch on their giant flat screens and root for their favorite player, even when that player cheats or are foul, er I mean commit fouls.
That's my take on it anyway, but I don't have the middle class and upper class comfortable life that can enjoy this thinking it is a sporting event and realize elections from local races to the presidency are life or death decisions affecting real lives - and the wrong choices can and have killed or impoverished millions of living breathing feeling people. By killing them outright in wars of political convenience (or profit) or starving them to death by enacting policies and laws that put people in the street to starve or freeze to death or by denying them healthcare because they can't afford the cost of actually using the insurance racket set up for those that prosper from the sickness and death they deal in.
