(18,053 posts)It's not worth my time. The conspiracy theories are just too inane, and that's why they don't take hold is because most people won't bother with trying to understand the silliness behind them.
How in the heck can anyone refute the meanderings of a conspiracy theory. They usually take root in one or two so-called truths and then turn into all-or-nothing cult-like layers of propaganda when the reality is that most things, and especially government decisions are layered with decision making that is so easily dismissed with a conspiracy theory.
I saw your threads about the Union endorsement conspiracy theories right after BS announced and just rolled my eyes so far back. Just can't go there. In fact, some of the CT's here are what made me question Sanders. If he is attracting that type of follower, then it made me look at him in a different light. Now you refute that to my liking and complete agreement, because that is what you are asking people to do with engaging in silly conspiracy theories.
And the Moralizing that goes with the conspiracy theories -- I like how you add that you love this country. Well, so do I, and you don't get to define for me what my morals are or what my reality is just because you like a certain candidate. Every party has their Moral Majority/Minority, and I that's all this comes across as. Now refute that to my complete liking.
