if he were not. The chief of the big firefighter's union is on TV saying he's spoken with Biden and believe he will run. It's always possible that he has been lead by Biden into making a bit of a fool of himself publicly, but that is probably unlikely.

As for friendly remarks about the GOP, people WANT an end to the divisions and return to government that governs. Biden wants people to believe he can do what Obama tried but failed to do. Who knows, maybe it's finally time. All things in their time, after all, and everyone's getting tired of those Rethugs except the Koch-types.
