(135,425 posts)and then play an "outrage" game when it is pointed out that Sanders shared his family story, too, I can't help you. I honestly don't think you or anyone with a shred of decency would feel OK about that, but apparently there are people on this board who can completely overlook context and play a faux outrage game, replete with "selective editing."
I think that people like to hear about the candidates' families and pasts. It's a big part of the whole show.
I don't think it's craven to do it. I think it is useful.
I do think it's craven to mock it when HRC does it, and then get all outraged when it's pointed out that she's not the only one.
I also think that mocking Dorothy--and that IS what lit this subthread off--then trying to claim it was a "joke," and then manufacturing faux outrage AND clipping a heavily EDITED version of a post, is some of the most dispicable shit I've seen happen here in a long damn time.
And I'm not "lashing out." I am not at all annoyed with you--I am simply explaining my position and I am speaking very plainly. I don't like being painted with anti-semitism by inference, and that IS what "certain DUers" are trying to do with their "WOW" posts.
