(135,425 posts)I also think both candidates have much to add to the conversation in terms of issues and proposed solutions.
I think one candidate is better prepared--by leaps and bounds--for the job, but if lightning struck and Sanders were nominated, I'd vote for him and hope for the best.
He's been my 2nd choice, but frankly, the behavior of just a few of his supporters is troubling to me. They might not be the majority, but their footprint of aggression and negativity is quite large, and it does resonate--not in a good way, either. It's not him, it's his associates. They're bullying, many of them. They pull him down. I'm sure you can find a few on the other side who exhibit the same behavior, but since most of them have been driven off, the bulk of those remaining here are for the VT Senator.
Then again, this is DU. That's probably the bright spot. We're not known for picking winners, so whoever is ahead in a DU poll is probably going home at the end of this evolution.
