57. Sure, I want a Female President, BUT NOT JUST ANY WOMAN!!!!
Sun Nov 8, 2015, 02:36 AM
Nov 2015

I want a female President to be a person of reason who knows how to speak to the American People with consistency, authenticity, and integrity.

I want a female President whose principles and integrity guide compromise but themselves are never compromised.

I want a female President capable of peaceful revolution and has the insight to call on the American people to stand united and demand revolutionary change in order to recapture a democratic nation of equal justice, humanity, and opportunity for all its citizens.

I want a female President who has a lifelong history of championing economic and social justice for The African American community. One who carries the words, deeds, and dream of Martin Luther King in living memory and has carried that torch throughout a lifetime of fighting for true equality, justice, and opportunity for all African Americans.

I want a female President that understands that all women have an absolute right of self-determination over the health and well-being of their bodies and minds, and that all women must share in the full rights of equality and protections of person as a prerequisite for a just and equal society, and that all women must enjoy equality of pay and opportunity in the workplace, and that all women must be secure in their person-hood and that of their families.

I don't see such a woman in the race because Elizabeth Warren has refused to run. Although I am voting for Bernie, she would have been my next choice because of her outstanding policies and the fact that her principles and policies cannot be influenced by lobbyists or moneyed interests. If Bernie were not in the race, she would be the best choice.

As things stand, Bernie is the best hope for the 99% to deny the usurpation of democracy by the oligarchs, and his victory will be not only a victory for the middle class in the US, but it will be a victory for all Americans and all peoples of the world to move away from war, the threats of war, the unfolding environmental catastrophe, and the encroaching tyranny of global fascism (i.e., globalism, globalization, corporatocracy, corporate sovereignty) . Vote Bernie Sanders 2016!
