(5,885 posts)that he wanted any and all news stories from that press conference to be about the tragic state of poverty in America and not about what every other news story is covering on the main page of every paper/web site? He is more than capable of answering questions about ISIS, which he has done already: today was about poverty in America which the status quo loves to ignore in favor of sensationalism.
What is sad and pathetic is how obtuse some people are when it comes to the various ailments of our world. There is suffering outside of ISIS that we should give as much concern and attention to, and if the media wants to flip the script (as they apparently did with the story that was supposed to be about the impoverished), then maybe someone should do what they can to keep them on point.
His image is of no consequence...look at his hair for fuck's sake!
