I don't answer a lot of calls on the land line. Looks like a waste of money, but we're not "there" yet.

Sometimes land lines are also more reliable in many emergencies depending on where the lines are

Like just about everyone I know, we have a house land line and each family member has a cell phone.

Does a VOIP line count as a land line? It's not a cell. Do landline polls call them?

3 phones. Love the landline it's buried so even in hurricances or no power, I can connect.
