2016 Postmortem
In reply to the discussion: Apparently Clintons remarks did not win over any Sanders supporters last night.... [View all]rhett o rick
(55,981 posts)75. "Clinton says she will pay for the same programs with increased effective tax rates on the wealthy
wealthy and corporations." What a laugh. By the way the "tax rates" don't mean a thing for the wealthy and big corporations. They simply don't pay what the rates are, they find loopholes.
If she were to try to raise the taxes (not rates) on her wealthy friends, they'd demand their money back.
Hillary Clinton is worth close to $50,000,000. She is an American Aristocrat.

Hillary's chart will follow the stock market - a weird prediction, but I think it will prove true.

Looks pretty insurmountable, makes you wonder why she would bother trolling for Bernie supporters.

They are still trying to gin up some kind of fake narrative to match their campaign.

Sanders has so few REAL supporters, I'm sure she wasn't trying to win any of them over.

Indeed she didn't. All she did was show how disconnected she is from reality.

I would put it this way: she's been the same all her life, but her rhetoric is chameleon-like.
