2016 Postmortem

was running, I occasionally coughed up a couple of hundred bucks (can't recall the exact amount, don't have check registers that far back), but probably no more than $200, to attend a small-attendee meet and greet with him. It was well worth it to me; I was very glad to be able to see him up close, speak to him one on one.
I was more affluent back then. I'm actually in decent financial shape, but I must and do live a bit more frugally than a decade or so ago. I donate to Bernie, but I'm not sure how much I'd be willing to pay to see him. But much more to the point, I don't think he's doing any of those pay-to-see him things, is he?
