But, since we're on that subject, let's compare missed votes:

From Jan 2001 to Jan 2009, Clinton missed 249 of 2,616 roll call votes, which is 9.5%. This is much worse than the median of 2.0% among the lifetime records of senators serving in Jan 2009. The chart below reports missed votes over time.

From Jan 2007 to Dec 2015, Sanders missed 102 of 2,835 roll call votes, which is 3.6%. This is worse than the median of 1.7% among the lifetime records of senators currently serving. The chart below reports missed votes over time.

While both missed more than the average, Sanders missed quite a lot less than Clinton.
