by our new rabbi in town. We are small enough here that we have only one temple and they hired a woman and she is dynamite. I am not Jewish, don't go to temple so I have no other experience with her, but she spoke to a Fine Arts sort of women's group I belong to. She spoke of all that was not written about women in the Bible. Some of it was speculative, some had been recorded (?) but not included in the big book. She had a lot of references but it was long ago and I did not save them sadly.

I would bet if you have not already looked (and you probably have) that you could find a lot seeking specific names on the net, perhaps through Jewish references, maybe you don't even need to be that specific?

I remember the story she told of Lot's wife Sarah. She ignored what the angels had said and turned when Sodom was destroyed and was turned into a block of salt. The question was why would she do such a thing? Ignoring angels is bad business. Well, her children were in the town and that may be why she turned, wouldn't you? So, was she evil or just acting as a mother?
