And this is why; take the actual pornography out of it---or replace the child porn with adult actors dressed as children--common enough, and not hard to find.

What you have then is the "consenting adults meme" and while I have no wish to interfere with the sex life of others, certain things are so commonly fetishized they become protected by this meme--say Japanese school girls, VERY popular porn and you end up with what is essentially pedo apology. Same thing for rape and rape apologists. And that is part of rape culture, the legal availability of this type of 'forbidden' sex. We have here an actual situation with a POS who'll spend a few years in a special offenders unit. Then he'll be let out. It's not that nobody cares, but nobody cares enough; enough to take a good look at exactly what we find erotic and an honest answer why.

Far too much of what is considered erotic is all a power play.
