He says its every bit as bad as you'd expect. In some prison's, inmates have a way of knowing when a juvenile tried as an adult is headed their way. By the time the kid gets to an adult prison, he's already "owned".

It's disgusting and vile, and it's hard to get people to pay attention to the problem. Or they'll say asinine things like they 'deserved' it. Or make jokes about it.
