10. I rarely get baited, as I rarely post out of here

A few times I've gotten into those ridiculous back and forth exchanges. I only do it here, if the poster is here just to stir shit, or is picking on a friend, I only do it "out there" for two reasons. There are posters I thought maybe were not misogynists, and I wanted to see if they were worth interacting with, or some thread that has devolved into outright sexist bullshit. I have my own system of 'ignore' which involves ignoring persons. I do hide threads.

I do feel bad for ones who wonder off the greatest page to here not realizing it's a feminist group. Well, actually it's kind off funny to see the attitudes that come off.


The "lets fuck with the feminists crowd" range from juvenile idiots to outright creepers. I think they are a loud minority. More problematic, is systematic ignorance of feminist values, and I'm talking 'Big Tent' feminism. Feminist don't agree on everything, but certain areas such as rape and rape culture we come down together.

No I don't think there will be change for the better. And that's incredibly sad.
