also put domestic violence on the table .I think a lot of younger people don't realize that domestic violence was a hidden issue up until this point, there was no such thing as a Woman's Shelter and the police and medical community usually looked the other way and called domestic violence "lovers spats". We have a lot to be thankful for when thinking about these pioneers of the second wave, they changed the world, now they're being reduced to cartoonish villains.Our young sisters need to realize, our rights aren't automatic,they were fought for and are still being fought for.
