is fat is lazy. I hate that. I have been heavy starting at 13 yrs old until now. I have always worked harder then some of my peers I worked with just to prove myself. I have gotten many awards. I worked hard and I always had my cloths made to go to work. I wore the girddle and nylons and high heels back then. I did all the right things. I always looked neat. I wasn't a slob. I'd have people say to me you are so beautiful if you only lose weight. Do you know how that works on a person when you never get positive feed back. The sad thing is a person who is morbidly obese has somethingelse going on. I don't know any fat person that wants to stay fat. None. You give your son the good vibes and love him for who he is. I think you are doing right. I think the last exceptable discrimination is against fat people. I feel sorry for the fat, african american gay kid. That kid has the triple wammie. I finally learned even after having major surgery to lose the weight to love myself. Because if you don't love yourself for who you are then no one else will. I did find happiness and have been married for 33 yrs. My husband is skinny. LOL It took years of being with him telling me over and over how much he loved me and my love handles (LOL). I wish the best for your son. You sound like a great mom.
