Why? I have a loved FB friend never does, even when she comments her love? JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #4
Because I don't find it necessary to do so. PoindexterOglethorpe Aug 2019 #22
Thanks! JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #24
How many recs per day should I do? Ptah Aug 2019 #2
5 at least if you want to earn your loyalty badge. nt Dr Hobbitstein Aug 2019 #3
Oh jeez, I'm way behind. Ptah Aug 2019 #5
I think whenever you think it is a positive post. JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #7
That means mindless recs rather than engaging, which is free. Ptah Aug 2019 #8
What if they agree, but don't have the time? JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #9
People are different than you. Ptah Aug 2019 #10

People are different than you. Ptah Aug 2019 #13
Maybe cause I'm not as smart as you? JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #15
Fifty recommendations in a day is excessive. Ptah Aug 2019 #16

People who rec are not anonymous. Maybe some spooky3 Aug 2019 #6
Are you saying they are afraid of someone knowing who they are and what they think? JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #11

To be honest, I would much rather have your own opinion. JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #17
I gave you a possible explanation, but you rejected it spooky3 Aug 2019 #19
I know what I think. That's easy. I'm wondering because rec are easier than commenting. JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #20

Because I don't know! JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #26
Or people rec but don't kick or comment, so the thread sinks. nt tblue37 Aug 2019 #27
Why does it sink? I'm trying understand why rec's are so considered more "valuable" than comments ? JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #28
A comment kicks a thread to the top of the list. A rec does not, though enough recs wlll tblue37 Aug 2019 #29
Thanks! JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #31
What is a kick? 2_heal_my_country Oct 2019 #38
Every time someone comments on a thread, that kicks the thread to the top of that forum's page. tblue37 Oct 2019 #39
Thank you 2_heal_my_country Oct 2019 #40
My post indicates that a comment is at least as valuable as a rec--perhaps even more so since tblue37 Aug 2019 #30
Thanks again! JoeOtterbein Aug 2019 #32

It's automatic. New threads start at the top of the page, and then gradually (or quickly on a busy tblue37 Oct 2019 #42
I really think a rec should be a default kick Skittles Aug 2019 #34
