5. i have been known to enjoy the discussions i have with other DUers

some of the most enjoyable discussions begin as bitter disagreements and end otherwise. for the sake of discourse, i'd like to think that it's still possible to communicate beyond dropping an OP or a single-level response, but maybe i'm wrong. it's also possible we've devolved and been alienated into becoming poop-flinging primates incapable of connecting with one-another outside of financial transactions, which i sincerely hope is not the case.

maybe i'm getting too old for this, but i remember a time when you didn't "make the point and go away", you made the point and stuck around to discuss it.
