All's I see on MIRT functions is the somewhat outdated https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=modsystem
(last updated in 2013) but I don't know what is outdated or not, other than for example the Transparency Page thing is no more.

A source of up-to-date but brief information is the periodic call for new MIR Team members such as

"We are now accepting new volunteers to serve on the MIR Team from November 2019 - February 2020"
