1. Try typing an open bracket, then the letter i, then a closing bracket at the beginning of your sig.

At the end of your sig, type open bracket, a forward slash "/", then the letter "i", then a closing bracket.

Note that when you are editing your profile that it will not show at that point--in order to check the work you will need to refer to one of your earlier posts like the OP you just posted to see whether or not the change worked.

Good luck and let me know if that worked.

ETA: Similar steps to bold the sig, but use the letter "b" instead of "i".
