2. You can use the Div tag to change formatting

For example, mine looks like this:

{div style='color: orange;'}{b}Another Fine Product from the Nonsense Factory{/b}{/div}

with square brackets instead of curly. If you just want to control bold and italic, you can omit the " style='color: orange;'" part.

I'm sure there are a lot more tricks, but this works for me...

On edit: if it's just bold and italic you want to change, you don't need the div tag. Just use the i and b in square brackets as Towlie described.
