4. I wouldn't worry too much about it... People use ignore for all kinds of reasons

beyond having a personal issue with a poster. Some posters are very prolific to the point of tediousness on a certain subject which must surely earn them their share of ignores, even if most like the DUer. Personally, I find some poster's repeated requests for individual causes or personal help difficult because I'm not often not in a position to help and it makes me feel bad to just "brush by" so I may put them on ignore. Others seem to use DU like facebook, constantly revealing waaay too much of their personal life and daily behaviors IMO and surely that will earn an ignore from me.

I think many take their "ignore" numbers quite personally while the ones who ought to use their burgeoning numbers to reflect on their DU behavior, really DON'T, so that is why admins will likely not display those numbers, even to the individual, in the future.
