3. I just want out.

I have come to realize that politics is part of the problem, not the solution.
I think the human race is pretty much run, and there's nothing we can do to change that.
It's clear to me now that 90% or more of all human behavior is driven by the impersonal, unconscious forces of thermodynamics, evolutionary biology and evolutionary psychology. As a result, free will is a nothing but a comforting illusion.

There's not much room on DU for attitudes like that, or much point in me hanging around any more.
