1. I recently had that problem with DU videos and then realized I was having the same problem

with all YouTube videos. The audio was working fine for everything else, just no sound on YouTube videos.

So I asked the wizards at the DU Macintosh Users group and I got an answer that solved the problem. DUer Zorro had the right advice: delete the Macromedia preferences folder from library/preferences. It worked!
