My local grocery store had a Duck Dynasty sunglass stand on display. I complained to management saying that I was offended that they would sell merchandize for a bigoted racist and homophobic fake reality show. The display is gone.

You did the right thing. I'd have tipped the waiter and walked the tab myself.
