I made my initial "investment" in Obama because Hillary was too much of a corporatist. I voted for him in my state primary though he didn't have a snowball's chance in hell. But I figured that it would be as close as I would come to voting for a black presidential candidate, and I would then switch my loyalties to Hillary -- no later than the first Super Tuesday, most likely, when his pipe dream of a campaign would be brought to a humiliating but merciful halt.
Substitute Bernie for Obama, anti-corporatist for black, and I'm right back where I started!
