They live in the bubble and talk to each other in the echo chamber.
They have become utterly tone deaf and unable to relate to the rest of us.

I can't say I'm surprised...if you are Bill or Hillary Clinton and your speaking fees yield an hourly income around $30,000 it has to be hard to maintain perspective and understand what real humanity looks like and does. To burden small Iowa communities with bills due to the campaigning and NOT kick in to pay for it is more than amoral...it begs the question, what exactly DO campaign contributions to them go for?
