26. What some Clinton supporters on DU fail to accept..

Whether it is willful ignorance or blind allegiance, is that there is a significant swath of our country who not only will not vote for Sec Clinton, but will go out of their way to vote against her. Having grown up in the south and lived through the 90's, I can assure you this to be true. When it comes to GE, we all line up to talk about swing states and purple states, and that is where the rubber will be the road. The appeal of another Clinton presidency goes no further than the doorstep of the DNC. We will lose in Nov if she is the nominee. Her past and present statements, flip/flops, and personality will drive away independents who will be deciding this nomination. Now, I've seen plenty of Clinton supporters poo-poo that and give many reasons why they think it won't be so, but I think they are extremely naive.
