It's not my intention to protect anyone. If someone isn't adult enough to stand a bit of discussion, then they shouldn't be here.

I am well aware Noonan has been quoted often, usually in the context of her Crazy Conservative Viewpoint.. However, to use her comments to validate the negative view of many Bernie supporters regarding Hillary's campaign speech is... in my opinion... wrong. I suspect her comments would have been ridiculed if she had said Hillary gave a wonderful speech. If that had been the case, if a Hillary supporter had used such a comment against Bernie, it would be wrong as well.
