In his campaign speech, the winning candidate for our city (pop ~500) council made it pretty clear that teaching evolution causes teenagers to riot and loot Wal-Mart stores. The nearest Wal-Mart is 20 miles away, and has never had a riot, so our handful of local teenagers must be very determined, to travel out of state to riot because they've been taught that they're savages.
Not only that, our town doesn't even have a f**king school in which to teach evolution--a routine maintenance bond failed, twice, so the school had to shut down. The school site is leased to someone who grazes goats there now.

Stupid may occur in pockets, but it's not limited to one region.
