11. I am pretty sick of white people I mean white people who aren't part of a minority community

being up in arms about this kind of stuff. I live very close to the urban center of the Twin Cities. I lived smack dab in the middle of it for many many years and no I don't know what it's like to be black and live there. But, I am mixed and my SO is also mixed, but he looks like a typical Mexican dude, so I know he's been hassled he has told me stories that make me want to punch a cop. Still that doesn't mean I am going to know what it's like. But, I do know that where I am from we talk about race issues and we don't get offended if someone says The hood or the ghetto or gang bangers or whatever and that there are problems in urban areas where people are poor, heck most of us have been there done that.
