7. As a gay black man,

two reasons I should be a Hillary supporter I guess, I find support for Hillary by gay (men) and African Americans to be somewhat superficial. If we are to attribute the young voter preference for Bernie to be due to him giving "hand outs", one can make broad assumptions about segments of Hillary supporters.

The gay men I've known throughout my life can be very superficial. They would rather watch RuPaul's drag race than a political discussion on economics. Again, this is a broad generalization. That being the case, they know Hillary claims to be progressive (today), has the gravitas to represent the country, and the wealth to dress like royalty. With these superficial considerations in place, there is no need or desire to examine her positions or concerns about her. As long as she doesn't attack our rights and represents our country by looking fabulous, then her ties to Wall Street, the MIC, or private prisons is of little concern.
