Illinois Revote-ing?

5. No, Voters in Adams County IL will NOT get to vote this week. Clip from an article on newspaper's

website that I copied just now. So, about 3000 citizens were denied their right to vote.

"Thus, despite our best efforts, it appears that those who were unable to vote on March 15 due to lack of available ballots will not be able to do so in any extended voting process," Barnard said in a brief statement.

Barnard filed a response late Monday afternoon to overturn the court's ruling approved Friday at the request of Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Madigan sought the appeal after Circuit Judge Chet Vahle refused to reverse an injunction he had ordered the day before that would have allowed five extra days of voting this week.

This could just be complete incompetence by a public official and hopefully the last he gets to make, but these folks will not soon forget that they were disenfranchised.
